My name is Maria Jesus, but everyone calls me Natus. I was born in Asturias, northern Spain, and I have been living in Florence for many years

I organise classes in my studio, at the Fondazione Istituto de' Bardi and at the Itaca cultural association.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge and passion for art through workshops and live demonstrations.
My works are in public and private collections — in Italy, Spain, Chile, and the United States — and have been selected for national and international exhibitions.

Believing in the power of sharing, I founded ACQUAFIRENZE APS, a cultural association of which I am president. It organises events in Italy and abroad for watercolour artists and urban sketchers.
I won the award for best conceptual artist in the Italian selection for the IWS International Watercolour Biennale in Albania.
I was chosen as the foreign leader of the Spanish team at the Fabriano in Acquerello international exhibition.
I was invited to Spain to teach at the sixth international watercolour festival in Cangas de Onís.
